Photography Workflow with Adobe Lightroom 5

Anyone who is serious about photography quickly accumulates thousands of images.  How do you get them organized?  How do you quickly find your best images?   What is the best way to process your images to make the best ones even better?  How do you share your images with others?  If these are questions that you are dealing with then this is the workshop for you.
This workshop will be held in Asheville, NC at the North Carolina Arboretum, January 24-26, 2014.
Lightroom is a full featured solution designed specifically for photographers.  It contains many of the important features found in Adobe Photoshop for post processing plus much better support for organization, slide shows, printing and web site support.  Participants in the workshop will develop a broad understanding of the program with emphasis on organization and post processing.  We will work on the Library module and the Develop module in this workshop with a goal of setting up your Lightroom catalog and giving you the skills to process your images in the Lightroom darkroom.  The workshop agenda is as follows:
Friday - 1-24-14:  Set up your Lightroom Library   9am - 4pm

Saturday - 1-25-14: Learn to use the Lightroom Library Module  9am - 4pm
Sunday - 1-26-14:  Using the Lightroom Develop Module  9am - 4pm
Workshop Cost:  Visit the North Carolina Arboretum's website for pricing and class availability.
In order to participate in the class you will need a computer with the current version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom installed and photo files to work with.  Class size will be limited to eight participants.
If you are interested in the class and have questions you can contact me directly at 828-299-9915 or 828-713-8549 (cell) or by email at robpriddy@aol.com.  I will give you much more specific information on the material to be covered and any preparation that you will need to do to get ready for the class.
Hope to see you in July!
